Ngong Ping 360 said an attacker stole personal data from its internal network and made a ransom demand. The company said the affected network was separate from cable car operations and electronic payment systems.

Frances official civil-service recruitment platform Choisir le Service Public disclosed a security incident that resulted in the theft of personal data for 377,418 registered candidates. The stolen dataset includes standard identifiers (name, address, phone, date of birth, email) and more detailed professional/education profile fields that can enable highly targeted phishing and fraud. The platform stated passwords were not compromised and CVs/attachments were not taken. In response, some features (candidate space access and direct-application functionality) were temporarily disabled for several days, authorities were notified, and a complaint was planned.

Brightspeed said it is investigating reports of a cybersecurity event after the Crimson Collective extortion group claimed it breached the company and stole personal data tied to more than one million residential customers. Reporting described the attackers claimed dataset as including names, emails, phone numbers, postal addresses, user account information linked to session or user IDs, payment history, partial payment card information, and appointment or order records containing customer information. Brightspeed publicly stated it takes security seriously and is investigating the reports and would keep customers, employees, and authorities informed as it learns more.
